Acrow Ltd's Wellington branch has only recently acquired Layher Allround scaffolding and they are clearly enjoying discovering its possibilities! This very exposed site on the edge of Wellington's harbour has resulted in a myriad of challenges, not the least being a roof with a very wide overhang.
Cantilevering out with Allround was not a problem but care was required in anchoring the scaffold. Each inner standard has been connected at two points to a tilting prop, which in turn is anchored by a rod that passes through the top two slabs before being secured with a tie bar base plate.
