The biggest ski ramp ever was built recently for the FIS World Cup Alpine Promotion Event in front of the Moscow State University, to advertise the 2014 Winter Olympics. The ramp is a record 150m long, 56m high, and at 37m wide, wide enough for two parallel downhill slaloms. High wind loads and a snow load of 1000kg/mē required a substructure of 1.09m x 2.07m. 1300t of Layher Allround scaffolding was used as well as 100 truckloads of snow from Siberia.
