Celtic Scaffolding erected this 36m modular stair tower for Thiess, the construction and mining company, to access a vent stack for a water treatment plant in Western Australia. Damian Beausang, Managing Director of Celtic Scaffolding, explained, "the tower was built in 4m modules on the ground and then craned into position. This not only minimised the erection time, it maximised the health and safety benefits for the scaffolders." The scaffold was erected in just two days and dismantled in one.
