Layher's Advance Guardrail Safety System is a really effective way of preventing scaffolders falling during erection and dismantling of scaffolds. The Advance Guardrail System enables a prefixed guardrail at the working height before the scaffolder enters the working platform to install permanent guardrails.
These photos show the Layher Advance Guardrail used on site by Upright Access in Auckland, New Zealand, on a scaffold job up to 44m high, with the photo showing it at 20m. The Upright Access scaffold Team found the system "great, easy to use and makes erecting scaffold quicker".
Mick Curran, Managing Director, said, "from my point of view it's a no brainer as our bays are 2.5 and 3m long and the lanyards are 2m long, so it gives the scaffolders a better and safer way to get to the next bay".
Thank you to Mick Curran of Upright Access Systems Ltd for the use of this photo.
