Megayacht Temporary Roof

An 85m long seaworthy mega yacht was built recently in the Oceanco shipyard in the Netherlands. The customer opted for an entire dock closed off with a temporary roof as weather protection, achieved with a Layher steel cassette roof.

The Allround substructure was built on a large base with a ballast of 360 tons for stability. Access to the dock was created by a moving section of the roof, using electric motors and a rail system.
