Layher’s Keder Roof and Keder Roof XL (PVC roof sheet) systems are incredibly robust temporary weather protection solutions. With their ability to create large self-supporting roof spans, the systems are ideally suited to a wide range of applications and sectors.
Impressive weather protection
Layher’s Keder (PVC roof sheet) Roof Systems are a proven temporary weather protection solution ideally suited to multiple applications in the residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and event sectors.
The roof system offers a quick, economical, and easy-to-assemble solution for a diverse range of weather protection applications. The system is also modern and visually appealing, making it a great option for applications where site aesthetics are an important factor.
Easy and safe to assemble
The Keder Roof System’s aluminium construction makes it lightweight, easy to handle and significantly reduces assembly and dismantling times when compared to traditional protection methods. It also offers a safer means of installing roof sheets by removing the need to work on the top of the structure.
The key to the system’s rapid assembly is its claw connection, truss stiffeners and PVC roof sheet installation (pulled through a track). Bracing is typically installed on every fifth truss, significantly increasing assembly and dismantling efficiency.
Versatile and cost effective
Because it is fully compatible with the Allround Scaffolding system the Layher Keder Roof system is one of the most versatile and configurable prefabricated weather protection systems available. The flexibility of the system enables you to create protective roof structures, or to combine it with sheet wall components to expand the system into a fully enclosed hall.
The cleverly designed Keder Roof System remains very cost effective, and the system’s modular design, with just a small number of truss and bracing components, offers significant savings in build time and labour costs.
Extra-wide spans using Keder Roof XL
The latest addition to the Layher roofing range – the Keder Roof XL – enables you to create even greater spans. The XL shares many qualities with its predecessor, retaining all the Keder Roof System’s installation, weight, and versatility advantages.
The Keder Roof XL enables you to configure the system for light, standard or heavy-duty bracing applications. Depending on the location and loading conditions, it is possible to create unsupported roof spans over 26m. It’s even possible to create arched or domed installations, making them an incredibly versatile and capable addition to the Layher roof system options.
Layher’s Mobile Roof System is the ultimate in lightweight and portable weather protection. Its innovative transport mechanism enables the system to be easily repositioned, making it suited to wide variety of construction applications.
Save material and time
Layher’s Mobile Roof System is the ultimate in lightweight and portable weather protection. The system enables you to reposition the entire protection roof, or it can be split into sections with ease to allow access through the roof opening. The system offers significant savings in build time and labour savings and is ideal for a wide variety of construction applications.
An innovative mobile solution
The Mobile Roof System offers unique advantages. Central to the mobile roof concept is the innovative roller trolley. The roller trolley mounts the roof system on purpose-made nylon runners which fit onto horizontal steel guide rails fixed to the support scaffolding system. The roller trolley runs smoothly along the guide rails enabling lateral roof movements whilst keeping the roof captive on the rails until secured in the desired stationary position
Safe installation
Inherent to the design of Layher’s Mobile Roof System is that it reduces the amount of building and alterations required on temporary roofs, and consequently the risk of falls.
Where space permits, mobile roofs can be built from the safety of a working platform assembled at a gable-end. Each bay can be assembled directly on the guide rails and rolled out. Stripping operations simply follow the reverse procedure.
Immediate response
Once assembled, the Layher Mobile Roof System can be repositioned quickly, conveniently and with minimal effort. For projects that require opening of the roof, the mobile system can be configured so sections of the roof structure open independently, allowing temporary access to lift material through the roof opening.
The Mobile Roof System’s lightweight modular construction provides an efficient and cost-effective mobile weather protection system to meet your changing project requirements.
Ideal for progressive projects
The Mobile Roof System is a natural choice for your existing Layher Allround scaffolding roof support system.
The mobile system’s low weight and effortless repositioning features make it the stand-out choice for construction applications that involve progressive work such as re-roofing projects.
Layher’s Protect System is a highly effective weather protection, noise reduction, cladding and containment solution. The system’s fully enveloping design creates a visually appealing protective skin around the structure, guarding against internal and external site hazards, and environmental contaminants.
Cladding solution for Allround Scaffolding
Layher’s Protect System is a comprehensive weather, cladding and hazard protection solution.
The system’s fully enveloping design creates a protective skin around the site, protecting workers and the public from hazards, and providing an effective means to control noise, dust, and other environmental contaminant.
Protection against site hazards
The Layher Protect System uses a rubber seal to form a water and dust resistant barrier around its outer perimeter.
This makes it suitable for an almost endless variety of construction uses. These include weather protection, controlling demolition dust and other particulates. The Layher Protect System is very well suited to environmentally sensitive projects such as façade cladding installation and sandblasting operations.
The lightweight system provides physical protection with wall cassettes constructed using aluminium frames and either thin sheet steel or translucent plastic panels. This places a strong barrier between work spaces and pedestrians, guarding against falling debris and other site hazards.
The Protect System is an extremely effective way to meet your weather protection requirements, hazard reduction and environmental protection obligations in a single comprehensive solution.
Excellent noise control
In addition to its physical protection capabilities, the Layher Protect System also offers very good acoustic insulating characteristics.
The system’s steel-sheeted panels deliver a noise reduction of 26 dB, with a further reduction when in combination with Layher’s sound insulation matting.
This makes the Protect System ideal for reducing noise levels for many applications such as public events, public assembly buildings, airports and for new and existing building sites where noise pollution controls are required.
Quick and safe to install
The Protect System’s logical construction sequence ensures it is assembled and dismantled quickly, easily and with absolute safety.
Like our other protection solutions, the system is universally compatible with Layher’s Allround Scaffolding system, making it the natural addition to your scaffolding portfolio.
Don’t take risks with safety or use more cumbersome and less economical cladding solutions. You can trust the Protect System to not only keep your employees, the public and the environment safe, but protect your livelihood at the same time.
Layher’s Steel Cassette Roof System is durable, capable of large spans and allows easy access through the roof for delivery of project material. With their ability to allow for the removal of one or more roof cassettes, the Steel Cassette Roof System is ideally suited to repair/maintenance projects over a long duration.
Extra large spans
Layher Cassette Roofs have established themselves as a firm favourite for large roof span requirements and long-duration construction projects. Depending on the location and loading conditions, it is possible to create unsupported roof spans over 34 metres!
Durable weather protection
The Layher Cassette Roof is impressively robust. Its practical design, coupled with quality hot-dipped galvanised materials, is a key reason why it retains its value over many years. The roof truss bays are assembled astonishingly quickly at ground level, then mounted on the supporting structure, one bay at a time, using a crane. The roof cassettes for the intermediate bays are inserted into a channel section and locked in place with clamping plates and wedges. That’s all there is to it!
Easy access for materials
To permit the supply of construction materials to the area under the roof, the Layher Cassette Roof can be opened at any location by simply removing one or more roof cassettes. No crane is needed.
System-independent
The Layher Cassette Roof does not require any specific substructure. This means that no unwanted additional investments are required. With some additional material and engineering the Layher Cassette Roof can be mounted easily on almost any scaffolding or other suitable substructure.
