Benchmark Scaffolding took on the challenge of suspending a scaffold over a 26m span between two timber headstocks to provide access for blast and paint repairs on an active fuel line in the Brisbane River. Benchmark Scaffolding recently completed this project using Layher ALLROUND on a sugar mill stack in Queensland. To improve productivity and to avoid the usual risks associated with working at heights, eight modules, each 7m in height, were pre-built on the ground, then fitted with bolt-in crane eyelets before being lifted into position by crane.
